We’re excited to introduce Emerging Sparks, a 24-month creative and wellbeing programme for young people across Scotland.
Designed for neurodivergent and marginalised-gender young people (aged 18–30), the programme is here to support those facing isolation, economic hardship, or discrimination.
What’s On Offer
Emerging Sparks is built around relaxed, co-designed workshops, guest speakers, and peer support, delivered both online and in person. To make participation easier, we can provide support with childcare and travel. A meal will be provided at every in person session too, to help remove barriers so everyone can take part.
The focus is on boosting confidence, wellbeing, and creative practice, while helping participants build stronger connections with their peers and local organisations.
Why Does It Matters
During the cost-of-living crisis, many young people are feeling the strain. Emerging Sparks takes a preventative approach, tackling the root causes of isolation and marginalisation before they grow deeper.
By investing early, we can create space for resilience, opportunity, and sustained growth.
Who helped?
Our project was made possible thanks to #NationalLottery players who we are so grateful to.
Thanks to the support of National Lottery players, they distribute over £600 million a year through 13,000+ grants and plan to invest over £4 billion of funding into communities by 2030. The National Lottery is privileged to be able to work with the smallest of local groups right up to UK-wide charities, enabling people and communities to bring their ambitions to life.
